Responsabilidad y Pruebas

  • SB 1048/HB 1193 reemplaza la Evaluación de Estándares de Florida (FSA) con la Evaluación de Pensamiento del Estudiante de Florida (FAST).

Financiación de la educación

  • SB 298 / HB 587 avanza una de las prioridades legislativas de F.E.A. para 2022 al restaurar la equidad en los salarios de los maestros y ayudar a Florida a salir de los cinco últimos en la nación para el salario promedio de los maestros.

Escasez de personal

  • HB 1017 promueve una de las prioridades legislativas de F.E.A. 2022 al ayudar a garantizar que todos los estudiantes asistan a escuelas con personal completo y puedan recibir la atención individual que merecen.

Attacks on Educators’ Freedom

  • SB 1458 attacks educators freedom to join in union with one another to advocate for the needs of their students.

Higher Education

  • SB 810/HB 6077 accomplishes one of FEA’s 2022 legislative priorities by repealing aspects of last session’s HB 233.
  • SB 520/HB 703 provides an exemption from public records requirements for any personal identifying information of an applicant for president of a state university or a Florida College System institution. 
  • SB 666/ HB 769 provides fee waivers for graduate assistants.
