Bylaw Amendment Related to committee and PPC appointments

NOTE: Pursuant to FEA Bylaw VIII, Section 1. (e) FEA is noticing the amendment below that was passed by the FEA Governance Board at their May 2021 meeting. This amendment will not be on the ballot at the 2021 Delegate Assembly.

BYLAW III – Delegate Assembly

Section 7. Appointments – The President shall appoint all committee and program and policy council members subject to the approval of the Executive Cabinet. Any active member may make a nomination of a person to the President for committee and program and policy council appointment consideration. Committee and program and policy council members shall serve for three (3) year staggered terms during which one-third (1/3) of the membership of each of the committees and program and policy councils will be appointed by the President each year. The three (3) year terms shall coincide with that of the Officers and shall not be restricted by term limits. The President of FEA shall charge the committees and program and policy councils with their functions and duties.
