Educator Pay

Florida’s public-school teachers are ranked #50 in the nation in average pay. Many educators have to work multiple jobs and struggle to provide for their own families. Policies that provide little support for teachers only add to the state’s critical teacher shortage, hindering retention and recruitment.

To fix this, Florida must prioritize competitive pay and aim to rank in the top ten for teacher salaries.

Educators deserve fair pay that allows them to create better lives, provide for their families, and do what they do best.
