The second day of the bus tour started with a “clap-in” for students at Rouhlac Middle School in Chipley, Fla.

After the clap-in, FEA officers visited Washington County Education Association President Lindy Mincey’s classroom and read to students before visiting the Washington Academy of Varying Exceptionalities.

From Washington County the bus rolled west to Okaloosa County for a series of site and school visits. We started at the Okaloosa County Bus Barn where we were joined by Okaloosa Superintendent Marcus Chambers.

From there it was on to Shalimar Elementary, where Okaloosa ESPA President Patrick Strong works.

We wrapped the day up with visits to Meigs Middle School and Choctawhatchee High School.
