Public schools are not just places where students go to learn, and teachers and ESPs go to inspire — they are where community happens.

Public schools allow neighbors — regardless of race, gender, political affiliations, religious beliefs, cultural backgrounds and more — to meet and work together on ways to make their community better.

We want to  celebrate and honor the vast and diverse community of people who make up our public education system — from teachers, paraprofessionals and bus drivers to those in custodial and food service, tech support and maintenance, and so many others!  

Education staff professionals ensure students achieve at their highest levels. They keep students emotionally and physically healthy and safe. They engage students and keep them connected to the larger school community. They provide instruction and academic support, challenging and motivating students by maintaining high expectations.
