You can make your letter even more powerful and effective by adding personal details such as your name, where you live and your job classification if you work in public education.

Also consider adding the following:

  • How many children you have in public schools
  • How long you have worked in public schools
  • The number of Covid cases and quarantines in your workplace and how that negatively impacts student learning
