Triangle Fire Anniversary

If you get rid of Unions, it won't be long and we will be back to these working conditions?

This week marks the 100th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, in which 146 workers, mostly women were killed in 1911. The devasting fire sparked labor activists and the fight for a wave of workplace safety reforms. 100 years later, much has changed for workers, yet so much hasn’t.

Member comment: "If you get rid of Unions, it won't be long and we will be back to these working conditions. It is already happening. How many of you have to work 6-7 days a week? What happened to the Great American Dream? It's time to fight back and save our country for the corporate greedy."
