A PBS' "Frontline" presentation: The Education of Michelle Rhee, scheduled to air tonight, Tuesday, January 8, 10:00 - 11:00 PM ET and on January 10th at 9:00 - 10:00 PM ET , takes a close look at an award-winning D.C. school where student standardized-test scores dropped dramatically in 2011 after the principal tightened security out of concern about possible cheating during Rhee's tenure as DC schools Chancellor.
According to Frontline producers, production crews were granted “unprecedented” access to Rhee during her brief tenure as Chancellor. The piece explores her battles with parents and teachers and it also touches on the cheating scandal that occurred on her watch. Get the facts on Rhee’s tenure in DC.
Rhee is also the founder of StudentsFirst, an organization that advocates for education reforms. Rhee's corporate agenda includes privatization, charter schools, vouchers, assessments based on standardized test scores, releasing teachers instead of training and shutting down public schools.

“Radical, Fighting to Keep Children First”:
Rhee has a new memoir, “Radical, Fighting to Keep Children First,” to be released in the near future.
Washington Post reporter Bill Turque, who covered her tenure as D.C. schools chancellor, says the book is notable for what it's missing.
