Week Ahead in the Legislature

In advance of the legislative session which begins on March 2, 2021, the Florida Legislature’s fourth interim committee week will run from Feb. 8-12.

Meetings relating to education are shown below. If interested, you can click on the respective chamber to see the full calendar for this week’s meetings in the House and the Senate. All meetings are streamed live and on The Florida Channel where they are also available for on-demand viewing within 24 hours of the conclusion of the meeting.

    • House PreK-12 Appropriations Subcommittee will not take up any bills but will receive a presentation of the Governor’s recommended PreK-12 budget for fiscal year 2021-2022 as well as an update on federal assistance related to the COVID-19 pandemic for PreK-12 education
