We believe every child in Florida deserves a world-class education from a professionally trained, caring teacher. We are fighting for the professional pay and working conditions necessary to keep teachers in Florida instead of fleeing to states where they will be better paid and more highly respected.
Meanwhile, at next week’s State Board of Education meeting, the Board will be presented a report from the Florida Department of Education that downplays the seriousness of the teacher shortage.
