Florida’s children need help, not divisive political rhetoric

During a committee meeting focused on HB 1, a bill which would create universal vouchers, Rep. Spencer Roach (R-North Ft. Myers) attacked all of Florida’s educators.

Roach claimed that Florida’s public schools provide an “inferior education” and condemn students who attend public schools “to a life of government dependence.”

We know the truth is that in Florida’s public schools, our children are given the skills and tools necessary to thrive in the workforce and in college. We also know that there is so much more that could be done to make sure every child can fulfill their dreams if only legislators would fully fund our public schools.

Enter your contact information below and then click “SUBMIT” to let Rep. Roach know the great things that happen every day in our public schools.

Please consider making your letter even more impactful by personalizing it with examples of the great things that happen in your school!
