Mazda has pledged up to $1 million of support to the National Education Association’s (NEA’s) Read Across America and the NEA Foundation to benefit public school libraries nationwide. Until April 2, 2012, Mazda will donate $25 – up to $1 million – for each test drive of any new vehicle at any Mazda dealer nationwide.
To participate, first visit: http://www.mazdatestdriveoffer.com/lorax to obtain an official certificate and take it to any Mazda dealer in the U.S. by April 2. After the test drive, the dealer will then validate the certificate. For it to “count,” the validated
certificate must be submitted by mail no later than Monday, April 2, 2012. Customers who participate in the test drive program will also be automatically entered in a drawing for a trip to Universal Studio in Orlando and “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” movie tickets.
Funds raised through the test drives will be donated to the NEA Foundation and will be awarded to public school libraries nationwide through an application process in the spring 2013. Administered by the NEA Foundation, this donation will provide vital funds to help the nation’s struggling public school libraries.
Complete details on the test drive program can be found at: www.nea.org/readacross or in the February 22 announcement.
Additional donations for public school libraries can be made to the NEA Foundation online at: https://www.neafoundation.org/donations/.
