PLCs and LSGs in a Nutshell

 1 user(s) rated this page

Our November newsletter contained an article on Lesson Study with an explanation of the basics of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and Lesson Study Groups (LSGs). We have heard from a number of association leaders and members about the usefulness of this information. They found the material particularly helpful in clarifying the key aspects and intent of these adult learning structures with district and school administrators.

Both PLCs and LSGs are designed to assist groups of educators in having the time and information to make informed, collaborative decisions to advance student learning. In order to help our members have succinct, correct information from the creators of these adult learning structures, the FEA PD department has developed two brochures detailing the features and key elements of PLCs and LSGs.
