NEA RA Delegate Forms
Your completed NEA Local Delegate and Local Successor Delegate forms must be forwarded to Pat Wright no later than the close of business on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at pat.wright@floridaea.org . Please encrypt the file with a password before sending and send the password in a separate email. If you prefer, the forms may be mailed as follows:

Instructions for State Delegates will be available soon. The deadline for State Delegates and State Successor Delegates is also April 10, 2012.
If you are running for State Delegate, it is important to note that you must attend the first caucus on Sunday, July 1st at 7:00 a.m. and are expected to stay through the end of the RA in order to receive your full delegate stipend. NEA RA Room Reservations
The Florida Delegation will be housed in the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel. The rate is $198 sngl/dbl plus 14.5% sales/occupancy tax per night. The Madison Hotel will be used for overflow reservations.

Shuttle transportation will be provided to the convention center. For those who need special accommodation, please complete the physically challenged services form found on the NEA RA website. Rooming assignments will be based on room type and number needs, size of local delegation, handicapped accessibility and timely submission of forms. FEA will do its best to accommodate all requests, though it will be handled on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline for room reservations is May 11, 2012. No exceptions. All reservations must be made through FEA Human Resources Department, Stephanie Reaves, to receive the contracted rate. The registration form is attached and should be sent to Stephanie Reaves by the May 11th deadline. NOTE: Occupancy is limited to four (4) persons to a double room. Limited roll-a-ways are available for single rooms only and will be an additional cost of $20.
Travel from the airport is approximately $20 by taxi or $18 by Super Shuttle each way, or you can ride the Metro for approximately $2.50. The Metro stop is about 3 blocks from the hotel, so be prepared to carry your luggage.
