The Florida Education Association recognizes your dedication to lifelong learning both personally and professionally. That’s why FEA offers so many Professional Development opportunities and offerings geared towards both teacher and education support professionals.

The alphabet soup of mandates continues to expand – FCAT, NCLB, AYP, DA, RtI, ELL, HQT --you continue to meet every benchmark while keeping the focus on the students you serve. This newsletter is designed to keep us abreast of Professional Development opportunities through FEA.

FEA offers premier professional development program opportunities like the nationally recognized American Federation of Teachers’ (AFT) Educational Research and Dissemination Program (ER&D) and the National Educational Association’s program for English Language Learners (ELL) and school climate assessment instruments like KEYS.

We believe that the education professionals who work in the schools best understand the needs of the students. FEA wants to help make it easy for you to access the skills, strategies and the underlying research to meet the needs of those students wherever they may be on the learning continuum.
