Delegate Favorites

MOSAP “Grow to Win, Win to Grow”  - Receive a chance to spin the wheel for cash! Delegates that have recruited members from the Make Our Schools A Priority Spring/Fall campaign through the start of the Delegate Assembly will be able to exchange membership forms (membership forms submitted with the delegate’s name as the recruiter) for a chance to be selected to spin the wheel for cash. Delegates can win $50, $100 or $500 with a spin.  More members recruited by delegates equals more chances to win a spin. For information about “Grow to Win, Win to Grow”, contact Sandi Ryland. (sandi.ryland@floridaea.org or 888-807-8007).

National PAC Campaigns - The FEA Delegate Assembly is an important opportunity to show your support for public education. The added fun is in the opportunity to win prizes donated by locals and other supporters.  To reach the $50,000 goal for the Delegate Assembly, the recommended contribution is $50 per delegate.  In addition to the recognition of Service Units that reach the contribution goal, individual locals that reach the contribution goal will receive a personalized flag to display.  During the second week of September watch the mail for your local’s pre-Delegate Assembly PAC planning packet. Reminder: each delegate may only contribute to the national fund of their former national affiliate for legal purposes. Delegates from former NEA affiliates may only donate to the NEA FUND.  Delegates from former AFT affiliates may only give to AFT Cope.  Look for the PAC booth in the Rosen Centre for detailed information.  Once again, we are asking all FEA locals to contribute prizes toward our drawings. Examples of prizes donated by locals include; wine and cheese baskets, beach trips, Disney tickets, gift cards and even electronics such as DVD players and televisions!  We again welcome your generosity in donating a prize for our PAC drawings on behalf of your local.  For information about PAC activities contact Eric Riley. (eric.riley@floridaea.org; or 888-807-8007)

Vendors & Exhibits:   The Rosen Centre Hotel ballroom foyer will be the home for our exhibitors and FEA partners.  There will be a number of items to purchase and some exciting prizes that will be awarded to lucky delegates who visit the vendor/exhibit area.  If you are a caucus chair and would like exhibit space, or have any questions regarding the exhibit area, please contact Linda Elliott. (linda.elliott@floridaea.org; or 888-807-8007)
